Dr Shervin , Veterinarian
St Clair East Animal Hospital was opened in October 2015, by Dr. Shervin Irannejad to provide excellent veterinary service to East York and surrounding communities.
Dr Shervin graduated in 1997 from veterinary college . After practicing for several years in various veterinary clinics in Alberta and GTA , he decided to open his own veterinary clinic "St Clair East Animal Hospital" in October 2015.
Dr. Shervin works in every aspect of veterinary care, including preventive care, diagnosis, treatment and surgery. He has special interest in soft tissue surgeries. He is a lover of both dogs and cats.
Tegan, Veterinary technician
Tegan has known from a young age that she would inevitably work with animals. Her animal career started in 2012 with grooming both dogs and cats, eventually starting her own business in Montreal. It was when she was working at a veterinary clinic in Montreal where she found her calling in the veterinary field. She originally started as a veterinary assistant/receptionist and was later trained as a technician. She strives to make sure both you and your pet comfortable within our hospital.
Shay , Veterinary assistant and receptionist
Shay is an animal biology undergraduate student at the University of Guelph and is an aspiring Veterinarian. She speaks 4 languages and loves interacting with people. She recently moved to the city to gain in-clinic experience with small animals. She has wanted to work in the veterinary field from a young age and is passionate about small animal welfare. She enjoys working with large animals in her free time by volunteering on farms. Her favorite animals however are her 4 year old rescue cat (Tuna) and her fish (Mowgli).
Faranak , Veterinary technician .
Faranak graduated in 2007 from Veterinary College in Iran. She has always had a love of animals since childhood . Since moving to Toronto she has been working at different animal hospitals as a technician. We had the pleasure of welcoming her to our team in May of 2018
Becky , Registered veterinary technician
Becky graduated from Georgian College’s Veterinary Technician program in 2016 and wrote her VTNE the same year to achieve her certification with the OAVT. She has a passion for companion animal well being and can also be found working with Royal Canin as a Pet Nutrition Advocate. She is currently working on her CMT (canine massage therapy) certification. When not working, she can be found adventuring with her enthusiastic Border Collie, “Cooper”. She works part time at our clinic to fill in some shifts .
